What could be better?  Sally Schoenberg, one of our members and a well-known lace instructor, has an exhibit in LaConner this month, while the daffodils and tulips are in bloom.  Four different varieties of bobbin lace, all made by Sally, are on display:  Torchon, Bedfordshire, Binche, and Point Ground.  Her lace will be at the La Conner Quilt and Textile Museum until March 29th. She is also teaching a beginning lace class at the museum on March 28th.

Jeff notes that his lace teacher, Máire Treanor, from Clones, Ireland will be at the Makers' Mercantile in Kent July 26 through 28, 2013 for a workshop on crochet lace. (Note: LPS is not affiliated with Makers' Mercantile. This is not an LPS-sponsored class, but we wanted to let people know about the opportunity.)
