Where to see us and our lace

Some of our members will be demonstrating lacemaking at the following events:

The Port Townsend Victorian Heritage Festival: they will be in Bazaar Girls Yarn Shop and Fibre Emporium on Saturday, April 27 (10am – 3pm).

Our Doves of Peace will be flying at Quilted Strait in Port Gamble until the last week of April, when they will move to Bazaar Girls Yarn Shop and Fibre Emporium in Port Townsend until the end of May. This group project took about two years and was completed for our guild’s ruby anniversary in October 2023. The project was inspired by Tanja Oblak’s design in the OIDFA Bulletin 2021, number 4. Each completed dove is displayed with a message about peace contributed by the lacemaker.
