Beginners Lessons at LPS
Bobbin Lace: Lacemakers of Puget Sound offers a series of free bobbin lace lessons. Visitors are welcome to borrow equipment for the first lesson during the meeting; the first lesson includes information on buying or making equipment for continuing the lessons.
Tatting, needle lace, knitted lace, crocheted lace, knotted lace: Although LPS has no formal series of lessons for these laces, most meetings have at least one member who can get you started in these techniques. Contact us in advance of the meeting to inquire.
Visiting Teachers
Several times each year, LPS sponsors visiting teachers in various lace techniques. Many classes can accommodate beginners who have mastered the basics; check the announcements on the home page for information about upcoming classes, or see the LPS Classes page.
